Sunstone Builds a Stronger Friendship with German Client Florian Through Factory Visit and Team Bonding at the Great Wall

Over two productive days in mid-May, Sunstone had a great pleasure of hosting Mr. Florian, whose company specialize in hinges, fittings, and customized hardware products. The visit, which combined business collaboration with cultural exchange, deepened the mutual trust between both companies and set the stage for potential cooperation in the months ahead.

Florian was warmly welcomed at Tianjin Railway Station on May 18. Following a delicious hot pot lunch that kicked off his visit with energy, we made our way to the Huangyaguan Great Wall in Tianjin's Jizhou District. Recognized as one of Tianjin's top ten scenic wonders, Huangyaguan stands as a Ming Dynasty military architecture masterpiece and the sole Great Wall segment combining a fortress, water pass, watchtowers, beacon towers, and encampments into one integrated defensive system. The group hiked the western route to its endpoint, with the majestic mountain scenery offering a stunning backdrop for conversation and team bonding. The Great Wall, a symbol of resilience and connection across cultures, proved to be the perfect setting for building the personal rapport that underpins lasting business partnerships.

The following day we had a morning meeting with Florian at our office. Michelle delivered a concise presentation on products aligned with his product ranges, followed by a site visit to three of Sunstone's manufacturing factories in Cangzhou. The tour covered the post anchor factory, the wood connector workshop, and the latch and hinge plant.

The factory visit gave Florian an in-depth look at Sunstone's production capacity, product ranges, quality control systems, packaging standards, and diverse machinery and equipment. One highlight of the tour was the opportunity for the German client to see competitor products being manufactured at our own factory, an evidence to Sunstone's reliability, stability and the superior quality of its output.

Florian also enjoyed authentic Chinese hospitality, sharing a meal featuring local dishes and traditional Baijiu with the factory teams, resulting in a satisfying and unforgettable day.

The two-day visit made Sunstone and Florian closer than ever before. By blending professional collaboration with genuine friendship, the two companies have laid a solid foundation for a more extensive and mutually beneficial partnership moving forward.
